Almost 35 years ago, Tellippalai, a small scholarly town, nine miles towards KKS from Jaffna, is an exemplar inspiring and still flourishing model village-town to other parts of our lovely Ceylon. It comprises of 02 prehistoric Hindu Temples 04km apart, 03 Churches in close proximity, 02 excellent Super-Grade Colleges just 1.5km apart and 05 Grade-B schools and many other, Grade-A Post-office, a Railway Station, an Airport (Palally) 3.5km away, blooming groceries, textiles, stores and service station and bakeries, thriving light-metal industries and Multipurpose Societies and Cooperative Markets and Hospital and DRO Office; a village that produces great educationists, lawyers, able civil administrators and illustrious servants, politician and luminous professionals of all walks-of sciences, engineers and doctors... At present, as other parts of Jaffna spearheads to come-out from scars of civil-conflict, Tellippalai too is emerging from the ruins and trying to regain her lost Glory and Prominence.

The plot is bare with a roofless partly torn-down old house and a well, rectangular and two sides bounded (East/South - one and a half side) by 15 & 10 ft `L` shaped lane; ideally situated 150yds from the main road to Panda`tharip`pu; adjoining the lane running along by the western-boundary - just opposite to previously the hostel gate – of the school. A school, as its name suggests for excellence stands tall grandly, is facing the vast open fields of cultivation / farmlands. Earth is self-possessed fertile reddish soil which is excellent for residential and home gardening purposes.

All places of importance in day-to-day life - worship, education, marketing, shopping, health, local administration and good grid of infrastructure – modes of transportation by road, rail and air – even by sea are within the reach of 3 - 4 km. Future prospects of development are forecasted to be appealing and inviting, more vibrant and energetic as the process rollover.

Deed is scrupulously well-defined and hassles free since it`s a direct inheritance for single ownership. Recently, overgrown bush-forestry has been cleared and ownership secured by surveying and demarcating all four side boundary lines by erecting concrete-posts and by paying tax dues to the local authorities. Recent documents pertaining to inheritance and ownership and originals of pedigree of the deed are in possession for scrutiny.
Recommended to anyone:

(a) Who is sentimental and still has attached sentiments to his / her school life as their college sitting on its centennial and believes on one day the marred glory of the schools and the town will be restored.
(b) Especially to those who are tired of living in congested – overcrowded, fast moving and hazardous atmospheric cities and longing for change in their lifestyle into a ranch-style country-living in a fresh atmospheric home environment.

The owner have / had no idea of selling – still doesn`t want to sell. Yet, having commended so, the reasons for his intention are `His Personal` and are beyond his control –i.e. safeguarding from distant domicile.

Available photos are attached. Photos show the scenes around the neighbourhood from the center of the plot. The temple is just 75 meters away built by and exclusively belongs to the College and Lord Natarajar enshrines the Temple, the College and the surrounding environment.

Interested party / parties may feel free in Good Faith to contact for further information or clarification, please!
